Morgan Says There\u2019s Room for at Least 50% Gains in These 2 Stocks<\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Despite the modest rally that we\u2019ve seen since late May, volatility still rules the markets. The overall trend for the year has been down \u2013 to the tune of 14% on the S&amp;P 500 and 23% on the NASDAQ. It\u2019s not exactly an environment that would encourage large-scale buying.<\/p>\n<p>But Marko Kolanovic, global market strategist from JPMorgan, takes the contrarian view, explaining why, in his view, current low prices represent opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the market got into oversold conditions, it didn\u2019t take much to completely reverse losses\u2014there were measured comments from the Fed (Bostic), and management of financial institutions giving hope that a policy error and recession may be avoided. Corporate buybacks kicked in post earnings\u2026 We believe that this will be a template for the whole year, in the sense that the market sold off in the first half of the year and will be followed by a gradual recovery in the second half,\u201d Kolanovic opined.<\/p>\n<div class=\"caas-da\">\n<div id=\"defaultINARTICLE\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In the meantime, Kolanovic\u2019s colleagues among the JPMorgan stock analysts are not shy about pointing out two stocks with potential for solid gains going forward \u2013 gains on the order of 50% or better. According to\u00a0<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:TipRanks' database\" data-rapid_p=\"140\">TipRanks&#8217; database<\/a>, both have received plenty of love from other analysts as well, earning a &#8216;Strong Buy&#8217; consensus rating.\u00a0Let&#8217;s take a closer look.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Volaris<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/stocks\/vlrs\/forecast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:VLRS\" data-rapid_p=\"141\">VLRS<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first JPMorgan pick is Volaris, a discount airline and a major carrier in the Mexican air travel market. Prior to the pandemic, Volaris held a 28% market share in its home country\u2019s domestic market, giving it a leading position.
